Vertebrate Silence: the Blog is part of the playground built and frequented by Vili Maunula, a 20-something male who lives in a relatively big house in a relatively small town that is part of a relatively middle-sized country somewhere on a relatively small continent. You can most probably fill in the blanks with a few web searches, if you are extremely interested. Or you can ask.

The purpose of the blog is not to innovate. Rather, it is a simple technological step forward from my former habit of emailing to friends and foes news stories that I deem worth someone’s attention. As such, it does not really differ much from the majority of blogs out there. If you are looking for more specialized reporting, take a look at my Akira Kurosawa News and Information site, my linguistics news site, as well as my literary awards news site.

The design of the blog was originally based on a theme called Slaty. The website that used to carry it has since disappeared. I have also modified the original theme to the degree where I am ready to call my current design a new theme in itself.

If you would like to get in contact with me, the most straightforward way to do so would be by sending an email to [myfirstname].[mylastname]@gmail.com . Note the “dot” between my first and last names. If that is too cryptic (blame the spammers), you can also leave a comment on any of my blog entries, and I will get back to you if necessary.
