As many of you know, I run a separate website that concentrates on the Japanese film director Akira Kurosawa. Most of my yesterday was spent re-designing the website (the old version was bland), and it is more or less ready now. Do take a look and tell me what you think.

A few weeks ago I read about a new film school that has been founded by Kurosawa Productions, the company that was founded by Akira Kurosawa to produce many of his later masterpieces. I didn’t think too much of it at first - after all the master himself has been dead now for more than half a decade - but now it turns out that many of the instructors and people running the school will come from Kurosawa’s old regular group of actors, assistant directors, technicians, and other people who helped him to create his films. Wow.
