I have waited for this one for something like a decade now, so I am going to take any rumours, as we say in Latin where I live, cum grano salis. But I know that I am still going to get terribly excited about this: according to DVD Times a restored version of “Blade Runner: Director’s Cut” (from 1992) should be out in September, followed by a theatrical release of a brand new “Final Cut” next year to celebrate the original film’s 25th anniversary. Then, all three will be packed to a one final DVD release that will come in a nice box set and loads of extras and that will set all this to rest for once and for all.
Yeah, right.
