New design

I got tired of the old design, and decided to find a new one. However, since no one had what I wanted, I ended up writing this one from scratch all by myself. If you see anything strange going on, do tell me — I have only had time for very limited testing.

A new study has indicated that if a website takes more than four seconds to load, an average Internet user will lose interest and go elsewhere. I would imagine this to be somewhat modified by your default connection speed, but in general it sounds about right.

As many of you know, I run a separate website that concentrates on the Japanese film director Akira Kurosawa. Most of my yesterday was spent re-designing the website (the old version was bland), and it is more or less ready now. Do take a look and tell me what you think.
